Security Engineer - Utrecht Region

• Implementing and optimizing security measures with a focus on practical applicability.

• Hands-on improvement of security processes and automation of security measures.

• Identifying vulnerabilities and conducting threat modeling and security assessments.

• Supporting clients in applying security best practices.

• Advising stakeholders on security measures through clear reports and presentations.

• Actively contributing to a security-first mindset within the team and the organization.

• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity.

• Experience in at least two of the following domains: IAM, network security, application security, encryption, SDLC, incident response, or cloud security.

• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27K, and OWASP is a plus.

• Strong communication skills.

• Fluent in Dutch and English.

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• At least one relevant certification (CISSP, OSCP, CISM, etc.) is a plus.
