Operations (DevOps) Lead - Regio Gent (BB)

Our client is a Belgian Scale-up looking to further disrupt a global market dominated by a handful of players with their revolutionary approach. Being founded only 6 years ago, and already the world leader with their unique methods of providing data management, the organization is expected to continue booming in the upcoming years. Having developed their blockchain token, looking to be carbon negative in the upcoming year and working on some top-notch IT solutions, you will be involved in, and help to write, a very interesting story.

As a Senior Operations Lead,  you will be responsible for guaranteeing the uptime of the network by overseeing the security, reliability and more. You will look after the change management and coordinate with all involved parties to ensure smooth transitions regarding updates in the operating system. You will put a good monitoring system in place to ensure everyone can see the network status.  As an Operations Lead, you will be in contact with several international teams coordinating their work. An occasional trip abroad is part of the job.

You are a good communicator able to manage and motivate a global team, interact with the community, and ensure the sales potential of the network.
You have a good understanding of large-scale cloud environments being used by many parties.
You have experience ensuring the uptime of a large network.

 You are fluent with:
 - Linux
- GitHub and agile processes
 - Docker / Kubernetes

You are fluent in English.
You can work with the Pareto 20/80 rule
You have team lead experience.
