Pre-sales Engineer - Region Gent - AU010

We are looking for a Pre-sales Engineer to strengthen our client’s sales team. With a solid reputation as a software integrator, our client specializes in digital signatures, identity and authentication technologies (such as eID and Itsme®), smart card technology, and more.

As a Pre-sales Engineer, you will work closely with clients such as Interparking and Q8. You will join a young, motivated team that strives for excellence. In this dynamic work environment, you will have plenty of opportunities to take initiative and contribute to innovation. Additionally, you will enjoy social moments with colleagues, such as gaming and socializing over drinks.

• Product Knowledge: Immerse yourself thoroughly in their products (online eSigning platform, identity platforms like Itsme®, etc.) and closely follow all new feature developments.
• Technical Solutions: Discuss potential solutions with the end customer and verify technical feasibility. You will also be responsible for the technical management of your customers' product environments and delivered projects.
• Business Opportunities:Proactively participate in new business opportunities and potential projects.
• Sales Support: Follow up on the sales process: initial technical contact with the customer, demos, and support.
• Customer Relationships: Maintain open and transparent communication as a technical advisor to build and retain existing and new customer relationships.
• Teamwork: Collaborate closely with the Sales/Marketing, Support, and Product Management teams.
• Product Management: Manage customer product environments within identity solutions and trust services.
• Knowledge Development: Continuously expand your knowledge of various technologies and products.

• Bachelor/Master in IT (or equivalent through experience)
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) or software in general is a must-have.
• Analytical mindset and out-of-the-box thinker.
• Customer- and quality-oriented with attention to detail.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Self-starter who can quickly grasp new concepts.
